Firstly, an apology for not having put in any Blog entries for a couple of weeks. I had a Wisdom Tooth out recently, and following that, a huge backlog of work. But here I am now, back in action and raring to go!

So we're now well into January and despite the global economic downturn, it's very much Business As Usual here at KPRS. Maybe this has something to do with the introduction of a huge tub of Coffee Mate - which has substantially increased productivity here.

I'd like to start this last blog entry for 2008 by firstly wishing everyone a Happy Christmas - and, of course, a Great start to the New Year in 2009... December seems to have flown by - and I'm amazed how fast Christmas has arrived!

New Client...

We've won a major new client and our Contract and Permanent recruitment has taken an even busier turn - as a result we're now looking for another consultant to join the team.

It's Bonfire Night...  - the atmosphere here in the offices is sparkling with energy and the new month has started off with a bang!

Over the last few weeks we've been catching up with lots of people as well as starting to get to know some new clients so things are mega busy. Still, there's been time for some fun and games as always...

Halloween Hauntings...

Our Office is Haunted...

There are still 3 weeks to go till Hallowe'en but this morning we found out that our new offices are Haunted... This morning Sam mentioned strange happenings on the stairs, and Geoff said that he has seen "something" out of the corner of his eye.

We've moved...! - at last, here we are, settled into our new offices. It's been all-hands-to-the-pumps for the last few days, but at last our desks are running, the Rugby Heroes picture is firmly nailed to the wall, and even KP's wooden duck has found a new home on the window-sill.

Coming Up...

Back at last from kite-surfing, and my feet have hardly touched the ground since getting back here. It's mega busy and as well as the "business as usual" stuff we're all gearing towards the office move - scheduled for 1st October. By the way, whilst our telephone numbers and email addresses will remain the same, our Fax number will be changing on that date, so keep an eye on the Contact Details...

Another Friday afternoon, and at last I've managed to find a few moments to update the Blog. Things have been ultra busy here this week, and the September "ramp up" seems to have really taken over. The focus still seems to be predominantly on permanent recruitment, which is keeping us all occupied... although the contract market seems to be tentatively picking up, too. We expected a slight downturn in August - although the "quiet period" didn't really happen, and it seems to be all systems go, now...

Well, it's been great having a few days off over the Bank Holiday - we're all back, refreshed and ready to go... although Geoff seems to be in recovery mode, having taken a cheeky few days away in Tenerife

Olympic Fever Strikes... and here in the office we're becoming totally addicted. In honour of The Olympics, we're holding an Office Olympics Challenge during our Lunch Break. Today's event was the Synchronised Chair-Spinning. Still feeling dizzy now...

As Rugby Training has started again, Geoff is insisting that one of the Olympics Challenge Events has a "Rugby Theme" - so on Monday we'll be taking drop-goals (using the kprs stress-ball...)
