Wet and Windy Friday!

Another Friday afternoon, and at last I've managed to find a few moments to update the Blog. Things have been ultra busy here this week, and the September "ramp up" seems to have really taken over. The focus still seems to be predominantly on permanent recruitment, which is keeping us all occupied... although the contract market seems to be tentatively picking up, too. We expected a slight downturn in August - although the "quiet period" didn't really happen, and it seems to be all systems go, now...

Despite the busy-ness, I did manage to get another look at the Middlesex Sevens pics - and remembered our friend Rich the Gladiator who joined us halfway through the afternoon.

Since the Olympics have finished, everyone in the office has started to train harder than ever. Geoff's started playing in a new position in rugby - he's gone from being a Prop to a Flanker (takes some doing... ), and KP has started training with some Triathletes, which he says will add a new dimension to the Great South Run.

I'm really looking forward to next week - off to Fuerteventura to learn to kite-surf... although it seems to be windier here in the UK at the moment. What is happening with the weather at the moment??? I'm a bit concerned in case I get carried off into the Atlantic somewhere...

Update to follow when I get back...
